This blue and white sled pull tractor is our kind of hybrid machine, blown alcohol power and turbocharged diesel in one nearly unstoppable rig! The triple engine arrangement of this tractor features 2 V12s plucked from the hulls of Russian T-55 tanks.

The estimated 4000 hp for this tractor comes from two diesel V12s from Russian tanks featuring four turbo chargers, and a methanol blown Keith Black Hemi
While the military application of these engines may have slipped into obsolescence, these twin-turbocharged diesel engines have found a new life in the sled pull! In the front of this hybrid rig is a Keith Black 526 cubic inch supercharged Hemi V8.
The quad turbochargers are Holset HC5A, and are shielded by blue sheet metal housings. Exhaust exits through 4 stacks with such force the cloud nearly blacks out the sky in the view of the camera man.
The mixed sound of the crackly methanol fueled Hemi with the whistle of the quad turbos feeding the double diesel V12s is a symphony of internal combustion. The conductor of this music sits securely in his blue cage while letting his machine pull the 4500 kg load with no sign of bogging.
The horsepower output of this Danish sled puller is estimated to be between 3,500 and 4,000 hp. With 4,000 hp some dialed in tire pressures, this Russian/American hybrid has no problems making full pulls down the track!
