When it comes to spark plugs, there are many different types of users within the enthusiast base. Some buy whatever is cheapest and easiest to get from the local parts store, while others are fiercely brand loyal and shop only within a given manufacturer’s lineup. Then, there are the people who are like your author, who rabidly research the minutiae of every part selection they make.
Ultimately, what everyone wants is a well-informed end user. To help facilitate that, Brisk USA has opened up the lines of communication (well, that’s a bit misleading – they have a great tech line that is always available for questions) by asking for your questions in this installment of Ask The Experts. Our expert is Brisk USA’s General Manager, Bret Lednicky. We’ve worked with Bret on quite a few projects, and it’s no exaggeration to say he’s a walking encyclopedia.
He’s a lifelong enthusiast of anything fast, be it on two or four wheels, that comes from a family of enthusiasts. Be it one of his project cars, or his 24 Hours of Lemons team (if you haven’t heard of that race before, I highly suggest you click the link — Lemons races are awesome), he’s always working on something in his off time. Besides being a bona fide part of the car-guy tribe, Lednicky is an awesome resource for Brisk USA. He started with the company in the warehouse 12 years ago, and soon, his background in mechanical engineering led him up the ladder, so to speak, and now he’s the General Manager, and our go-to guy for anything spark plug related.
So, put on your thinking caps, and warm up your keyboards. Type out your spark plug questions and send them to enginelabsmag@gmail.com. You’ll have until Friday, July 7, 2023 to get your questions in. We’ll then compile them and publish Lednicky’s answers for everyone to read. Don’t miss out on this awesome opportunity. In the last several conversations we’ve had with Lednicky, we’ve walked away having learned something, which means it was a great convo. So get in on the knowledge sharing and shoot us an email.
