Total engine development includes comprises testing on many levels, starting with individual components all the way up to the finished vehicle. SuperFlow is the only company that provides a cylinder head flowbench, engine dyno and chassis dyno so that the shop can maintain consistency throughout the testing and development of any performance project.

If there’s one trend that SuperFlow products have been deeply involved with over the past decade is that engines are making way more power than was thought possible.
“Cylinder head development is so crucial now,” says Giles, “and you need to be able to quantify improvements.”
SuperFlow offers numerous flowbenches to serve all testing and development needs, starting with the benchtop SF-260 up to the SF-1020-SB that includes WinDyn Data Acquisition for advanced testing and data analysis.
SuperFlow’s newest SF-Black Widow engine dyno is rated for 3,000 horsepower and up to 11,000 rpm. It will also handle up to 2,500 lb-ft of torque, so it’s capable of testing Pro Mod engines.
Cylinder head development can be quantified on the flow bench, and SuperFlow offers a variety of models to suit any shop's needs and budget.
The last step for many teams is testing on a chassis dyno.
“This helps you understand and identify losses through the drivetrain,” adds Giles.
SuperFlow offers both AWD and 2WD chassis dynos in different levels as well as a powersports chassis dyno.
Customers can order a chassis dyno in either 2wD or AWD models.
