If you’re rolling around in a bad-to-the-bone street machine, chances are you want it to look just as good under the hood as it does on the outside, right? The guys at March Performance agree with you, and to that end they’ve developed one of the slickest accessory drive systems we’ve seen to date. The Sport Track Ultra accessory drive system is available for both small and big-block Chevrolet engines, and offers an awesome look to go along with the proven performance of March’s all-inclusive systems.

“This system has what we call our Black Onyx finish, where we machine the part, paint it black, put it back in the machine, remachine all of the edges, and put it back into the paint system to put a clear powdercoat onto it. It’s available in multiple finishes – we also offer chrome and a silver-gray finish covered with a flat clear coat to provide a different look,” says company President Kim March.

The kit includes a 105 amp alternator, a Sanden air conditioning compressor, air conditioning manifold, water pump, power steering pump, all of the sweet CNC-machined brackets, pulleys, and hardware to bolt it on.

Not only do they produce the all-in-one Sport Track accessory drive kit, March has also developed a set of matching valve covers with emblems covered in the same Black Onyx finish to set your machine apart from the crowd. But March didn’t stop there – he says he spends a lot of time doodling, and one of those doodles turned into the wicked patterned Sport Track air cleaner housing you see on top of this engine. It uses hand-bent mesh screen inset into a quarter-inch-deep lip all the way around the cleaner’s perimeter, and a carbon fiber inlay on top.

Internally, the cleaner uses a traditional oval filter for simplicity’s sake. “I got so tired of looking at oval and round air cleaners, so I took some wire mesh and bent it up, and found that I could hide an oval air filter and create any external shape I wanted,” he explains. Sweet stuff!
